A Közös történelem és közös identitás a határmenti régiókban

1. szakaszának eredményei

A pályázat első, 2006. december 31-ig terjedő szakaszának központi feladata a „Regionális és nemzeti identitásformák a 18–20. századi magyar és szlovák történelemben” c. tudományos konferencia megrendezése.

Ennek főszervezője a szlovák fél (Eperjesi Egyetem Regionális és Nemzetiségi Kutatóintézet) volt, ő fogta össze a programot, biztosította a helyszínt (Kassa, Thália Színház Márai Stúdiója) és a program zökkenőmentes lebonyolítását.

Magyar részről (MTA Társadalomkutató Központ, Magyar–Szlovák Történész Vegyesbizottság) javaslatot tettünk a megfelelő magyarországi szakemberekre és biztosítottuk a felkért előadókat: Gyivicsán Anna (ELTE BTK), Halász Iván (MTA Jogtudományi Intézete), Kiss Gy. Csaba (ELTE BTK), Soós István (MTA Történettudományi Intézete), Szarka László (MTA Etnikai-nemzeti Kisebbségkutató Intézete), Tomka Miklós (Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem), Valuch Tibor  (MTA Politikai Tudományok Intézete), Zeidler Miklós (ELTE BTK) személyében.

A 2006. november 8–10. között Kassán megtartott konferencián részt vett a projektmenedzsment, s a Magyar–Szlovák Történész Vegyesbizottság üléssének keretében egyeztetett a szlovák partnerrel a pályázat teljesítésével kapcsolatos további feladatokról: a) a kassai konferencia előadásainak publikálása; b) a Budapestre 2007. júniusára tervezett konferencia szempontjairól.  Az a) pont esetében megállapodtunk, hogy egységes küllemű könyvsorozat elindítására törekszünk, tervezésére a magyar fél javaslatot tesz. A b) pont kapcsán kijelöltük az előadók felkérésért felelős személyeket (Stefan Sutaj, Jan Pesek és Balogh Margit) , s egyúttal megállapodtunk, hogy a hagyományos előadások mellett  kötetlenebb kerekasztal-beszélgetést is szervezünk az egyház–nemzet–identitás témakörről.

A kassai konferencia előtt és után egy-egy munkaértekezletet tartottunk. Az elsőn (2006. október 10.) a kassai konferenciával kapcsolatos teendők, a másodikon (2006. november 13.) annak értékelése, tanulságok, illetve a 2007-re tervezett konferencia előkészítése volt napirenden.

Az első projketszakaszra vállalt feladatokat mindkét fél teljesítette, a konferencia előadásainak publikálása áthúzódik 2007-re.

The main goal of the first project phase ending on 31 December 2006 is the organization of a scientific conference „Regional and national forms of identity in the 18-20th century in Hungary and Slovakia”.

The conference was organized mainly by the Slovak team (University of Eperjes, Research Institute of Regional and Nationality Studies), that arranged the program, provided the location and managed the smooth implementation of the program.

The Hungarian party (Center for Social Research, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Hungarian-Slovak Joint Historian Committee) proposed the appropriate Hungarian experts and provided the necessary lecturers, namely: Anna Gyivicsán (Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Arts and Humanities), Iván Halász (Institute of Legal Studies  Hungarian Academy of Sciences), Csaba Kiss Gy. (Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Arts and Humanities), István Soós (Institute of History, Hungarian Academy of Sciences), László Szarka (Research Institute of Ethnic and National Minorities, Hungarian Academy of Sciences), Miklós Tomka (Pázmány Péter Catholic University), Tibor Valuch (Institute for Political Sciences, Hungarian Academy of Sciences), Miklós Zeidler (Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Arts and Humanities).

The project management team has participated at the conference in Kosice on 8–10 November 2006 and discussed the further tasks related to the completion of the project with the Slovak partner at the session of the Hungarian-Slovak Joint Historian Committee: a) publication of the lectures at the conference in Kosice; b) guidelines of the conference planned in Budapest in June 2007. Concerning  point a) we agreed that we strive to publish the book series with an unifom appearance, designed by the Hungarian partner. Concerning point b) we appointed the persons responsible for contacting the lecturers (Stefan Sutaj, Jan Pesek és Balogh Margit) and agreed that along the traditional lectures we also arrange a more informal „round table” workshop on the subject of church-nation-identity.

Before and after the conference in Kosice we held workshop meetings. At the first one (10 October 2006) tasks related to the conference in Kosice, at the second (13 November 2006) its assessment, results and the preparations for the conference in 2007 were discussed.

The goals for the first project phase were completed by both partners, the publication of the lectures will take place in 2007.
